Green Man Batik Altar Cloth & Scarf – Handmade in Bali, 36" x 36"

A celebration of the natural world, handcrafted in traditional Balinese batik.

Bring the spirit of the forest into your sacred space with this beautiful Green Man altar cloth, handmade in Bali, Indonesia.

Four Green Man faces emerge from a rich forest-green background, their features formed from delicate layers of leaves and foliage in shades of yellow and spring green. Graceful vines curl between the figures, creating a design that feels alive with the energy of the natural world.

The Green Man is a familiar figure in Pagan and nature-centered traditions, often associated with the vitality of the forest, fertility, renewal, and the endless cycle of growth, decay, and rebirth. His leafy face serves as a reminder of our connection to the living earth.

Each cloth is created using the traditional batik process, in which wax and dye are used to produce colorful designs on fabric. Handmade rather than mass-produced, these textiles carry the distinctive character of artisan craftsmanship.

Measuring 36" x 36", this versatile square can be used as an altar covering, decorative tapestry, seasonal display, or worn as a scarf. It's particularly well suited for woodland-inspired altars, Green Man devotion, and celebrations of Beltane or the returning spring.
